BackUpPlan.net Present anywhere How it works Plans

Let audiences follow PowerPoint slides on phones, tablets, and computers

Put your PowerPoint slides in front of your audience on phones, tablets, and computers at the same time. BackUpPlan is a distributed presentation tool: it works when the venue screen is unavailable, alongside a working room display, and alongside Zoom or other online platforms.

Prepare your slides in the tool you prefer. BackUpPlan accepts Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, and PDF files, then distributes the slides to viewers through their browsers. PowerPoint is one supported format, not the boundary of the product.

Keep presenting when you cannot use the venue screen

Share your Speakable Address™ with the audience and lead the presentation using BackUpPlan's Control Center. Viewers follow on their own devices. You can also distribute slides this way while using the room's screen.

Give online audiences their own view of the slides

When presenting on Zoom or another online platform, share your presentation screen as usual and also give viewers your Speakable Address™, Name Address™, or Company Name Address™. They can follow the deck in a browser on a phone, tablet, or computer while participating in the online session.

Give every presentation a Speakable Address™

A Speakable Address™ is a simple address for a specific presentation, such as BackUpPlan.net/JohnDoe/Strategy. Share it aloud, display it, send it to your audience, or offer its QR code. Viewers open the presentation in a browser on their phone, tablet, or computer.

A Name Address™, such as BackUpPlan.net/JohnDoe, points to the presentation you designate as current. A Company Name Address™, such as BackUpPlan.net/Acme/John, gives Business and Enterprise presenters a company-based address for their current presentation. These addresses make it easy to tell your audience where to follow.

Keep your audience with you—and let them revisit your ideas

Tandem Mode™ lets your audience see slides as you reveal them through BackUpPlan's Control Center.

Viewer Self Pacing™ lets viewers revisit slides you have already revealed, then return to the live slide. Someone can review a point they missed while you continue presenting.

Present as a team without coordinating control handoffs

Team Present™ allows up to five authorized users to control the shared deck without having to coordinate handing off control. It supports a team presentation in which different speakers can advance the slides when it is their turn. Check eligible plans and user permissions.

Get your slides in front of your audience

  1. Upload your presentation. BackUpPlan accepts Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, and PDF files. Open the presentation when processing is complete.
  2. Choose viewer access. Use public access for anyone with the address, or choose passcode or account-required access.
  3. Share your address. Give viewers the Speakable Address™, Name Address™, or Company Name Address™ appropriate to your presentation. A QR code offers another way to open it.
  4. Present with Tandem Mode™. Advance slides through BackUpPlan's Control Center. Audience members follow in browsers on phones, tablets, or computers and can use Viewer Self Pacing™ to revisit revealed slides.
  5. Choose your leave-behind. Control whether viewers can download the original deck, a PDF, or both, and when downloads become available.

Why people who used Microsoft Present Live may be looking

Microsoft says Present Live has been deprecated and will no longer be accessible in PowerPoint for the web. Its notice directs remote presenters to PowerPoint Live in Teams.

For audiences who want to follow slides on their own devices, BackUpPlan offers a browser-based presentation workflow with its own addresses, presenter controls, Viewer Self Pacing™, and Team Present™. Explore BackUpPlan's distributed presentation features.

What BackUpPlan presents

BackUpPlan distributes rendered slides. It does not provide animations, transitions, embedded video, captions, translation, reactions, or surveys. Review the rendered slides to confirm the layout and text look as intended.

Common questions

Do viewers need an app?

Can viewers revisit a slide?

Yes. Viewer Self Pacing™ allows them to revisit slides the presenter has already revealed, then return to the live slide.

Can multiple speakers present the same deck?
